Liverpool Irish Festival family day

Join us for our annual Liverpool Irish Festival Family Day co-hosted with the Liverpool Irish Festival. 

We will have masses of family activities to entertain and engage visitors of all ages, featuring live Irish music, readings, dancing, puppets, performances, craft workshops, free gifts, tours and much more besides - there is something for everyone. Make sure you get mum, dad, grandma and grandad down, as well as the kids, and any combination of the above.

Focused on the idea of ‘arrivals’, highlights will include performances from the Melody Makers musicians, the Bolger-Cunnigham and George Ferguson dancers.

The day puts the Irish of Liverpool at the heart of everything - the programme, the museum building and the city. 

The Family Day is sponsored by Tourism Ireland and held in partnership with National Museums Liverpool.
