SRD 2022: Drama workshop with Pari Richards

A drama workshop exploring improvisation, song, hip hop/rap music, and spoken word poetry for young people and families to look at themes of remembrance, liberation, and resistance ending on a jam and open mic delivered by Pari Richards. Song has been a way to hold us together during adversity we see how music has influenced societal changes and provided liberation in a historical context which journey's through Slavery and salvation.  Join BlackFest and be a part of the remembrance of ancestral power and awakening.
