Begin your Pride Saturday in a gentle, grounding way with this sensory-friendly art workshop designed for all ages and abilities.

Led by eco-artist Aslan Herzen (he/him, ze/zem), this drop-in session offers a calm, welcoming space to slow down before the energy of the march, get creative, and set your intentions for the day.

⭐ Tear and layer recycled papers to create beautiful textures and colours
⭐ Add doodles, affirmations or Pride slogans that hold personal meaning
⭐ Make your own unique A5 collage to keep as a reminder of your Pride intentions – or turn it into a one-of-a-kind sign to carry in the march

This workshop is designed with families, children, and neurodivergent participants in mind, offering a sensory-friendly environment with plenty of flexibility and quiet breakout areas. Come for five minutes or the whole session – make it your own!

✅ Step-free venue with accessible toilets
✅ Calm, low-stimulation environment
✅ Volunteers on hand to help with art materials or ideas
✅ Quiet breakout spaces for anyone needing a break

Organised with Comics Youth.
