Join us for our annual celebrations for Trans Day of Visibility. Today the museum will be taken over with stalls, performances, talks, and workshops highlighting what it means to be trans and non-binary in Liverpool in 2023.
Come and show your support to local trans communities, and celebrate the wonderful gender diversity of our city.
11am-4pm - Marketplace
A marketplace of trans-inclusive services and organisations.

12noon-1pm - Takeover event
GYRO and THE Action Youth takeover event with Jollyboat.
Kicking off our celebrations we are pleased to hand over the reigns to our friends at GYRO and THE Action Youth who have developed a programme by and for trans and non-binary young people. Local superstars Jollyboat to headline!
1.30-2.30pm - Mandy Romero launches the TReasured archive
We are delighted to be welcoming Mandy Romero, who will be launching an exciting new project documenting trans and non-binary stories from the 1970s to today.
2-4pm - Banner making workshop
Amazing local artist Lo Tierney will be showing you how to create banners celebrating trans visibility and showing support to Trans and Non-Binary communities locally and internationally.
3-4pm - Performances and readings
Participants in a local creative writing competition for trans and non-binary people will showcase their phenomenal work, with performances and readings of poetry and creative writing.
