The Youth Engagement Forum, National Museums Liverpool's group for people aged 16-24, are hosting a pop-up event inspired by the Happiness! exhibition, which celebrates the life and career of Sir Ken Dodd, the iconic Liverpool comedian.

There'll be lots of fun events and activities on the day to put a smile on your face, including:

A session on how to write funny 'nonsense' poems and stories, with happy help from poet and storyteller John Hughes
The opportunity to create illustrations inspired by funny and strange rhymes and sentences
Short performances of interactive poetry and storytelling
A selfie station with props, for you to take some funny pictures and share
Space for you to share your favourite jokes, or memories of comedy or stand-up performances that you've seen

These are all free, drop in activities, with no need to book.
