Secrets of Sudley Extra

Join our Participation Team for a look around this wonderful historic home, find out about the house’s wartime past, it’s hidden safe and much more. We will also take the opportunity to find out more about the house’s last occupiers, the Holts, who used money from their shipping line to fund the acquisition of their amazing art collection.
 

Following the house tour, join our friendly facilitator, where you will find out more about Sudley’s links to shipping and discover how lines like Lamport and Holt, Cunard, and White Star helped shape the city and its culture. Get hands-on with real objects and discover how, despite being in a house on the top of a hill, in Liverpool, you are never far from the river or the sea!
