Join us at the Walker Art Gallery for a guided tour of our Pre-Raphaelite collection. The Pre-Raphaelites were a group of reactionary young men who came together in London in 1848 seeking a return to the principles of the early Renaissance.

Our tour guides will reveal the captivating stories behind pieces produced by members of the Brotherhood and their circle, and how Liverpool artists embraced Pre-Raphaelitism.

Highlighted art includes work by John Everett Millais, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William Holman Hunt, Ford Madox Brown, and work produced by Morris & Co.

Every Wednesday, and Saturday at 1.30pm and Sunday at 10.30am

Tickets can only be booked on the day.
