Join us for a glimpse at specimens that inspired artists and illustrators around the globe. These artworks captured the animals’ characteristics in life and death, many are a part of the World Museum Vertebrate Zoology Collections today. Please feel free to bring your own sketchbooks, pencils and coloured pencils to sketch and capture the specimens in your own way. For conservation reasons we need to restrict the use of some drawing materials to prevent accidental damage to collection items, such as Pens, Charcoal sticks, Chalks, Pastels, Easels, Crayons (including Conté, wax) and liquid paints (watercolours, oil, acrylic or wax-based paints).

20 May, 2-3pm, World Museum's Treasure House Theatre.

Admission to this talk is £7, tickets available soon.
