Clore Natural History Exploration Space

Our Natural History Exploration Space gets you up close to some of our incredible collections. You can explore our natural world, though a hands on experience with our plant, animal and mineral museum specimens from around the world, with staff close by to answer questions and queries.

Our 30 minute slots to get hands-on and up close with collections must be booked on the day. Tickets are free. You can BOOK TICKETS HERE.

Available time-slots are Wednesday – Sunday during term time with additional days during local school holidays.

DINO TAKEOVER!

Dinosaurs are taking over the museum this summer!  Every Wednesday and Thursday during the school holidays we will have a special focus on these pre-historic creatures.

Alongside our regular programme of Exploration Space sessions, over Summer 2025 we're hosting special visits from our incredible team of curators connecting their current work and the world of Dinosaurs and palaeontology. Pick up a ticket for the regular sessions on the following days and enjoy a chat with our specialists.
