In Focus: Liverpool Conservation Talk - Pierrette Squires
No current dates available

Welcome to our ‘In Focus: Liverpool Conservation Talks’, ‘bitesized’ 30-minute lunchtime talks held every second Wednesday of the month. They are organised and overseen by our Collections Care team.
This talk is with Pierrette Squires, team leader at Bolton Library and Museum Service managing the museum, archive & aquarium collections and a trustee and mentor for the Institute of Conservation. Pierrette will be sharing her experience of developing the £800,000 Chadwick Resource Centre, a sustainable build using passive haus principles. Today the centre holds around 100,000 objects. Pierrette will review the effectiveness of the building, the conservation measures in place and examine how the project connects to regenerative practice and thinking 10 years on.
The talk will take place on Wednesday 9th July at 1.00-1.30pm. There will be time set aside for Q&As following the talk.
