The sun might be the celestial object we see most often but we can NEVER look too close! Join us to safely observe the sun's rays using a selection of solar-observation tools without hurting your eyes.

This session will take place outside in front of the museum, on our Patio area behind the Wildlflower meadow. The area has a slight slope and uneven cobbled flooring. If you would like to join in, please wear appropriate clothes and footwear for standing outside.

This session is suitable for ages 5+ and the whole family is welcome.
Each session will last up to 20 minutes.
For covid safety this session will have a maximum of 1 household group at any time.
Tickets are available in venue at the Information Desk.

Museums Playing Out is our way to safely get outdoors and play and learn together.
