Parrots and Pigeons of World Museum: Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

World Museum’s bird curators need your help. World Museum has a globally important collection of birds, one of the best in the World, but we need your help breaking these birds out of the museum store and onto the World Wide Web. During this Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, you’ll be adding details and images of World Museum’s parrots and pigeons (and other birds) to the species pages on Wikipedia.

This event is for people with little to no prior experience as a Wikipedia editor. We’ll show you where to find information about World Museum’s scientifically important birds and how to edit a Wikipedia page. You will need a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet with access to a web browser (e.g. Google Chrome) to participate.
