About this object

Ear stud of the ‘gauge’ variety that would have been worn in an enlarged ear lobe. Finely carved from Egyptian alabaster. Very good condition with only surface stains of dirt on the smaller face and a black stain (or imperfection?) on the side. White sticker with printed red numbers 3765.
