About this object

Steatite scarab seal with details of the head and legs on the back, and flat base inscribed with a representation of the goddess Hathor, framed by two uraei and a wedjat eye at the top. Pierced through the length for suspension. Chipped on the base. From Garstang's 1909 excavations at Abydos, tomb 941 A'09. Appears in excavation archive photograph A414.
