About this object

Upper fragment of a green glazed Egyptian faience figure of Isis with remains of the throne emblem surmounting her tripartite wig, with her right hand to her breast, the left originally cradling the head of her now-missing son Horus.

Purchased at Glending's auction house, London, 29 August 1932 lot 356.
