About this object

Brass penannular neck ornament, with square cross-section, tapering towards curled-back ends. Incised lines divide the mid-section of the necklet into five divisions decorated with punched and engraved designs. Design on middle division consists of punched opposing lunates either side of outward edges. Divisions either side of middle division decorated with incised cross-hatching. End divisions decorated with punched serrations along outward edges..
