A black leather postcard album embossed with gold lettering. The album has ready-made slots for postcards and is only partially full. The album contains postcards from Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, India, Japan, China and also it seems, commissioned postcards from Sikkim.

    Curator's note: It is likely that Bell collected some of these postcards during his 1907 trip to East Asia (he went via North America), but there are also postcards from 1933 and a 1937 trip to Budapest. There are also a small number of photographs that feature Bell, which have subsequently been turned into postcards. It is unclear how many of these postcards came originally from photographs.
