Carlo Albacini

Italian sculptor, dealer and restorer (active 1770 - 1807)

Active 1770 - after 1807 according to Oxford Dictionary of Art, but Wikipedia has 1739-1807 and WAG Scala Guide (1994 ed) had 1735-1813.

Albacini trained in the studio of Bartolomeo Cavaceppi. He made copies of antiquities and restored ancient sculptures for visitors to Rome. In common with many other sculptors at the time, Albacini was also a dealer in antiquities. Carved copies and restored antiquities for Henry Blundell.
