About this object

Cast gilt bronze figure of Tsongkhapa seated in yogic or meditational pose on a double lotus pedestal. He isn't wearing his distinctive pointed mitre, but his hands are raised to his heart in dharmachakra mudra. Behind his shoulders are two fully opened lotus flowers holding in the left flower a manuscript and in the right flower a sword of wisdom. His base is decorated with the double dorje and contents are in place.
