About this object

A pair of very fine, tablet woven garters. With naturally dyed stripes of gradating purples and blues, interspersed with lines of undyed cream-coloured yarn. One garter has been exposed to sunlight and half the length is faded to browns and greens. At each end of each garter are twisted tassles.
