A large open-work pillar with an offering lamp at the top. Behind the lamp is a pedestal figure of Durga surrounded by a large flower nimbus, which still has significant amounts of gilt showing.

    Handheld XRF elemental analysis at the surface/near surface by Dr Matthew Ponting, Dept. of Archaeology, Liverpool University, April 2013 appears to show that the alloy is made up of approx. (rounded) Copper 58.5%, Zinc 36.8%, Lead 2.3% and Tin 1.5%. S. Newman, May 2013.
