About this object

An egg-cup shaped bowl with additional bands of silver covering the top to give the appearance of a basket. One side remains open. Possibly a condiment set (with 53.97.29). The bowl is decorated with chiseled and punched floral decoration and the foot with leaves. The interior of the bowl is gilded.
