About this object

A small, slender snake with obvious neck and flattened head. The back is grey to grey-brown with a dark central stripe flanked by a series of black spots forming bands or a zigzag line. The top of the head is black, belly whitish, the tail is pale , the final third being yellow or orange to salmon-pink. Length up to 43 cm.
