About this object

Robust, deep headed lizard, tail up to twice body length. Adults have bright green back, dorsal pattern varies geographically, northern populations have light stripes bordered by brown area with black blotches, these are lacking in southern populations. Underside of breeding males bright orange, red or yellow with greenish throat.
