Free football film screenings

To celebrate the extension of the Only A Game? exhibition we teamed up with the Capital of Culture's Cities on the Edge programme to provide free screenings of the fly-on-the-wall film, On the Edge of Passion.

The 52 minute film follows football fans from Liverpool, Marseilles and Istanbul; cities known and renowned across Europe for their dedication to their football teams. Revealing the intensity of passion from the fans of clubs including Liverpool, Everton, Olympique de Marseilles and Galatasaray, the film recognises the common identities between all football fans, and expresses what it is and means to be a fan.

On the Edge of Passion is by French company Comic Strip Productions.

Showings

On The Edge of Passion was shown, free of charge, in the Treasure House Theatre at World Museum in February 2009. We're hoping to be able to host further screenings during March and April - check back for details.
