A large wallet with a floral, oil painting design inspired by the Bloomsbury set. 1916 was the year the artist Vanessa Bell and her writer husband Duncan Grant moved to Charleston farmhouse near Lewes, East Sussex. Vanessa’s sister Virginia Woolf, and other artistic friends and family regularly gathered here. In doing so, the Bloomsbury set was established, creating one of Great Britain’s most influential art movements of the 20th Century.
The wallet has an adjustable, leather closing and a grey and pink, grid design lining. It has a zipped compartment split into two, full width pouches and a separate compartment with 12 card slots and space for notes. The wallet is embellished with a hot pink tassel.
